Festival Artistic Director, Tamsin Waley-Cohen, joins forces with pioneering harpsichordist, Mahan Esfahani, to perform music that traces the evolution of music from the dazzling geometry of the Baroque style through to the wilfulness of the “sensitive style”, (developed in 18th-century Germany intending to express "true and natural" feelings), to the balance and clarity of early classicism.
