In his first appearance at Maastricht's Musica Sacra Festival, Mahan Esfahani plays a programme exploring the influences on German rhetoric in keyboard music: from the English virginalists to J.S. Bach. Further exploring the impact of counterpoint past the Baroque period, this recital also features three inventions by the British composer Rob Keeley. (www.robkeeley.net)
